Hershey hiding under the bed. About 2 seconds after this picture was snapped, he snuck up and pounced all over Tux. Never a quiet moment.
This is alittle out of order, but after returning home to Arizona from visiting in Louisiana, this is what I find in the bathroom. Don't ever assume the cats are lazy, sleepy animals...at least mine aren't! One guess as to which one did this bit of work...

B-52 Pilot Training Graduation finally arrived on 18 Dec at Barksdale AFB, La. Meg flew down for the occasion to assume the role of cheerleader and official photographer! Here's Stephen, just after recieving his certificate from the Commander. Before this the Commander spoke and told the audience that all the aircrew personnel in the room graduating (which was not that many and that consisted of pilots, navigators, electronic warfare officers and radar navigators) comprised of 10% of the Air Force's total B-52 bomber aircrews! Stephen's entering a small and select world and a close knit community...it's going to be a blast! Quite literally.

All smiles after sitting back down after graduating! What a relief! No longer a student...

The official Certificate of Training! That'll go in a frame! He also recieved his leather bomber jacket and bomb squadron scarf, which is red and yellow like his name tag.

So after graduation, we saught out a good spot for some pictures. We decided on the "Mini-Buff". This way, we can get the entire jet in the picture :) So here's Stephen with his hard earned bomber jacket!

Man, we're good! Got the two of us AND the Buff in the background!

Ok, so Meg didn't graduate or finish anything today, but she will be a Maintenance Officer on B-52s soon!

One last shot of one of the newest operational B-52 Bomber Pilots! :) Finally!!

Thanksgiving 2008 began in Phoenix at the airport at about 9 am, when Meghan picked up Stephen who flew in from Louisiana. Our plans for this year were to have Thanksgiving dinner at our friends from college home in Las Vegas, Nevada. That's about a 4 hr drive from Phoenix. So we cruised the entire way there until we reached the Hoover Dam, which is undergoing construction, so traffic crawled through there. The plus side was that we were driving so slow, Meg could take lots of pictures from the car of the dam!

No worries, we eventually got to Jeremy and Laura's house for dinner. We spent roughly 2 days there and then drove home.
